About Louise

Hi, I’m Louise and I couldn’t be more excited that you’re here!

I am a mother of two amazing boys who keep me very busy and astonished, I love tea and lots of it, I love the outdoors, I love cooking, music and all things artsy.

When I am not on the school run or running after a toddler ( I seem to run a lot hmmm… ) you can find me working with clients as a Family and Child Development Consultant. I bring over 15 years experience of working in both private and statutory government organisations in the United Kingdom. My experience involves, working across a wide range of needs from universal to more specialists, including multiple and complex needs.

My special area of expertise is in the psychodynamics of human development and I specialises in the strengthening of families, through evidence based processes, parenting consultations & coaching – either 1:1 or in a group setting, workshops, courses and supporting children and families through proven techniques  to improve outcomes and to effect positive behaviour change.

As part of my experience and accomplishments, I have served as a Child Development and Family Services Consultant, a Targeted Services Manager and Children’s Centre Manager in inner city London and a

Children’s Centre Regional Manager covering multiple groups of Local Government Children’s Centres in rural England.  I have also served as the Chair of an Advisory Board to a group of Children’s Centres.

I successfully developed and coordinated the Young Parents Services Project under the Sure Start Plus Teenage Pregnancy Strategy in Children’s Centres

across a prominent London

Borough. The programme worked to improve outcomes for pregnant teenagers, teenage parents and their children. Strong emphasis was placed on holistic family well-being, parenting, empowerment and getting young parents back into education and training. This served as part of the wider United Kingdom Teenage Pregnancy Strategy.

I have developed and facilitated Parenting Support Groups,  worked as a Family Support Practitioner, managed Family Support teams, facilitated Domestic Violence Support Groups and developed and implemented noteworthy Family Support Services for Local Government and Voluntary organisations.

I have also successfully developed evidence based parenting courses founded on the principles of Depth psychology, Adlerian psychology, and Neuropsychology. Over the years I have influenced thousands of parents to implement positive behaviour change, which has served to transform their families. I have done this by providing the tools, supporting change in developing mindsets, and teaching strategies that transform their own minds and in turn their parenting. This has helped parents to raise capable, resilient, confident and independent children in a practical,

conscious, gentle and positive way.

I am excited and proud to be part of the movement that’s changing the way parents in my community think about discipline. Helping parents understand that gentle connected parenting and discipline work hand in hand. Helping parents learn that you can successfully raise a well-adjusted, responsible, brilliant human being while parenting gently and mindfully through connection and it that will NOT SPOIL them and creating positive change for the next generation of children and parents is what I hope will be my greatest professional legacy.
